DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE Becoming ME is a personal journaling application designed to help users reflect, track moods, and document their life journey. The app provides daily journaling prompts, mood tracking, insights, and optional reminder features. 3. ELIGIBILITY You must be at least 13 years of age to use Becoming ME. By using the app, you represent that you meet this requirement. 4. USER ACCOUNTS • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. • You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account. • You may not share your account with others. 5. SUBSCRIPTION PLANS AND PAYMENTS • Becoming ME offers free and paid subscription tiers with different feature levels. • Paid subscriptions are billed as described at the time of purchase. • Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by law. • We reserve the right to modify pricing with reasonable notice. 6. USER CONTENT • You retain ownership of all journal entries and content you create. • By using the app, you grant us a limited license to store and display your content solely to provide the service to you. • You are solely responsible for the content you create. • You agree not to use the app for any unlawful purpose. 7. MENTAL HEALTH DISCLAIMER IMPORTANT: Becoming ME is a journaling tool and is NOT a mental health treatment or medical service. • The app does not provide therapy, counseling, or medical advice. • Content in the app is for educational and self-reflection purposes only. • The app is not a substitute for professional mental health care. • If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact emergency services (911) or the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline immediately. 8. EMERGENCY CONTACT FEATURE The emergency contact/safety alert feature is provided as a convenience tool only. We do not guarantee delivery of alerts or the response of designated contacts. This feature should not be used as a substitute for contacting emergency services (911). 9. PROHIBITED USES You agree not to: • Use the app for any illegal purpose • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the app or its systems • Interfere with the proper functioning of the app • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the app • Use the app to harass, abuse, or harm others 10. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY All content, features, and functionality of Becoming ME — including but not limited to the daily questions, design, graphics, and software — are owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. 11. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. 12. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app. 13. TERMINATION We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through Settings. 14. GOVERNING LAW These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction. 15. CHANGES TO TERMS We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance. 16.
